Coastal Georgia Engagement Session

Isle of Hope, Savannah, Georgia

Summer + Zach

There’s just something extra sweet about Coastal Georgia, man. The quiet marsh waters, the colors at sunset, the massive hanging oaks - it’s hard not to romanticize this beautiful area. Getting to shoot with Summer and Zach earlier this summer for their engagement photos was a DREAM.

We started our day out at one of Savannah’s staples, Wormsloe Historic Site. S+Z rocked their stylish outfits, perfectly matching the charming southern atmosphere around us. Summer wore the cutest white mini dress and checked platform heels and Zach rocked a checkered blazer that complemented her fit so so well. Wormsloe is one of my most requested photo session spots in Savannah. The hanging oaks are just too good to pass up and it’s easy to see why it’s a crowd favorite.

But the real magic happened when we made our way to the coastal waters of Isle of Hope - just a hop-skip away from Wormsloe. There's something undeniably dreamy about the combination of salty air, quiet streets, and whole lotta love. The entire session just seemed so warm and homey and it was so easy to watch these two in front of my camera. We got to hang with their sweet pup toward the end of our night together and that was just the icing on the cake. I cannot wait to squeeze these two next year on their big day here in Savannah - there’s still way more magic to be made!
