Hey, hey party people! It's been a hot minute since I've hopped on the blog and there are a ton of new faces around here so I figured it was time for a little re-introduction and life update post for my peeps.
If you're new here, welcome to the fam! I am so excited that you are here and hanging out with me on this fun little corner of the internet. I actually don't think that I've done a TRUE introduction post here on the blog so I feel like it is LONG overdue since life has radically shifted for me this year! I asked you guys to submit some question on the 'gram and nothing was off limits so I can't wait to dive into this fun get to know me post!
Q: WHO EVEN ARE YOU?
A: So yes, hi again! My name is Stephanie, but most people that know me call me Steph! I am originally from New Jersey but moved to North Georgia when I was a little girl. I attended the University of Georgia (GO FREAKIN DAWGS!) and got my BFA in Photography. I love all things love and light and burgers and you can probably find me with some sort of coffee drink in my hand more hours than not.
Q: WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR JOB?
A: I am a freelance photographer and web designer! I am in front of a screen or behind the lens more than I am not and I wouldn't have it any other way. I also work at a branding agency where I am constantly making graphics, shooting properties, and designing websites.
Q: WHY DID YOU LEAVE YOUR CORPORATE JOB?
A: I learned A LOT from my corporate job. I was with the company for years and absolutely loved every minute of being there and working my way up the "corporate ladder" if you will. My creative heart strings were just pulling me in a different direction after some time and I feel like I am exactly where I am supposed to be in my so called "professional career." As a multi-hyphenate, I get to meet so many people, make so many connections, and cultivate so much happiness with every avenue of my work.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COFFEE DRINK?
A: This one is tough! If I had to choose my favorite though it would be a large iced french vanilla coffee with 2 cream from... DUNKIN'!
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY?
A: My favorite part about photography has always been connecting with other people. Now don't get me wrong, finding my style and editing are up there, but nothing tops getting to know people's hearts and their stories. It's always been my favorite part of the "job."
Q: WHY SAVANNAH?
A: So before I officially made the move, my boyfriend lived down here! For about a year and half, I spent most of my weekends traveling down to Savannah and every time I visited I fell more in love with the city. I think it is the perfect size city and it is so charming. Not to mention it has SO many amazing photo locations!
Q: WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER?
A: I offer a few different kind of photo sessions!
Portrait + Lifestyle Sessions: Perfect for couples and grads
Intimate Weddings + Elopements: For all of the lovers out there
Brand Collaboration: For all of the small businesses and boss babes that need consistent photography and content
Q: WHAT'S YOUR SIGN + WHAT'S YOUR ENNEAGRAM?
A: I am a Cancer - July babies what's uppppp! I am also a 1W2 on the Enneagram and if you were wondering my top love languages are quality time and acts of service.
Q: WHY DID YOU WANT TO START OFFERING DESIGN SERVICES?
A: Over the years, I've found myself falling in love with design. It started when I designed my first website, and then another, and then I started playing around with graphics and text and layering and was like whoa man, this is pretty neat. I started having friends ask for small design help and felt like I was in a unique spot to offer both photo and design. After much debating with myself, I took the leap and started really honing in on my design aesthetic and BOOM now I offer select design services.
Q: WHAT DESIGN SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
A: This is so crazy that I even get to write down that I offer these services now but also SO exciting.
Web Design: My main jam. Nothing fuels my fire like helping other small biz owners create their own corner of the internet.
Small Design Projects: Social Media Graphics, Custom Illustrations, Save The Dates, Graduation Announcements!
If you took time to read this far, you're a real one and I am so happy to have you in my circle. I can't wait to continue to share more with you over the rest of this year and years to come. We are going to have lots of fun over here.
